Release notes, changelogs and what's currently being built in ZabFox.

Network Topology 5.5 — faster, nosier, and then we tried to break it

5.5 in three moods: 5.5.0 got three times faster (4681 → 1581 ms on 1000 hosts), 5.5.1 shows more from data it already had, and 5.5.2 survived six adversarial reviews.

Network Topology 5.4.0 — every cable gets its own line

Two switches, four cables, one line — and when one of them dies, nothing on the map changes. That's over. Reported by a contributor who then went and built it.

Network Topology 5.3.2 — five reports, five bugs

A ghost called F8, port counters nobody could find, and one IP address that belonged to two customers. Five reports, five bugs, two new tags.

Network Topology 5.3.0 — edges in detail, filters & GraphML

Every link now says how sure it is. Re-patched cables stand out. And maps with thousands of hosts load at all — 566 MB became 90.

On video: Quadrata shows Network Topology for Zabbix

Dimitri Bellini (Quadrata) dedicates a video to the module: native install on Zabbix 7.0 & 7.4 and automatic mapping via LLDP/CDP.

Network Topology 5.1.0 is here — out of beta

The final release: manual connections and positions are now stored server-side and conflict-safe, a metrics row of six KPIs, two new dashboard widgets — and the _v6 suffix is gone for good.

Network Topology for Zabbix is now open source — public beta

The Zabbix frontend module that shows hosts, problems and traffic as an interactive topology map — now a public beta under AGPL-3.0.

v4.36.0 released

Ghost nodes, a port-to-port weathermap and a versioned API contract — where things stand since v4.31.

v4.31.0 released

Minified production bundle and minor fixes — live on zabbix.fox1.de.

From 44 requests to one: esbuild bundling

Why the module now ships bundled — CSP-friendly and with real stack traces.
